Welcome to the 2025 Learning Strategies and Student Success Conference! As professionals dedicated to fostering inclusive environments, we understand the profound impact of nurturing both academic and social-emotional development in our students. This conference is designed to empower learning resource professionals with the tools, strategies, and insights needed to create supportive, enriching communities where every student can thrive.

Keynote Speaker

Dr. Una Malcolm (she/her) | Chief Academic Officer, Dyslexia Canada

Dr. Una Malcolm is the Chief Academic Officer of Dyslexia Canada and the Project Lead for ONlit.org.

 

She volunteers as the President of the International Dyslexia Association Ontario. Una works collaboratively with partners across Canada to support equitable, evidence-based literacy education for all children.

 

She believes deeply in the potential of all children, and in the transformative power of effective instruction to allow each child equitable access to all the benefits literacy affords.

Dr. Una Malcom is a KCS alumni.
